A history of success

Founded in 1997, Ashfield has come a long way in a short time. Turnover has risen rapidly since the company's birth, from $3.2 million in 1997 to $77 million in 2005.

Ashfield has enjoyed successful contracts with some of the biggest names in the pharmaceutical industry and has evolved to offer clients salesforce resourcing, vacancy management and headcount recruitment as well as a training and development programme which is second to none.

From strength to strength

Ashfield Healthcare became a wholly owned subsidiary of United Drug PLC in May 2000. As a leading provider of out-sourced services to healthcare manufacturers in the UK and Ireland, United Drug has an annual turnover approaching €750 million and employs over 1000 people.

Looking towards a bright future

In 2002 Ashfield set up operation in the USA, the worlds largest Pharmaceutical market and is looking to repeat the success seen in both the UK and Ireland.

In December 2002 we opened Ashfield House in the UK, our international headquarters which incorporates an extensive Business Centre with purpose-built training facilities.

 

Together Ashfield and United Drug will continue to grow and evolve, offering a broad range of out-sourced services including distribution, order-to-cash cycle services, contract selling, nurse advisors, training and recruitment.
