Two key members of the Universal WorldEvents US team will be speaking at the Pharmaceutical Meeting Planners’ Summit in Philadelphia next month.
Gavin Houston (CEO Americas) will be participating in a panel discussion called ‘The Impact Of The Sunshine Act’ at 11:45 on 5 November. The discussion will highlight best practice and look at tools used to effectively capture and report Healthcare Professional (HCP) spend. Gavin will be focusing on how the Sunshine Act has impacted on Universal WorldEvents since the bill was initially passed in 2010 and finalised earlier this year, and will feature some current processes and tools that Universal WorldEvents utilizes to track HCP spend. Other panelists include representation from Eisai, Medtronic and Celgene.
Kirsten Peterson (Business Director) will be moderating a panel discussion called ‘Strategic Meetings Management Programs’ at 14:15 on 6 November. The discussion will focus on understanding the benefits and value of such programs and will provide effective design tips, identify common obstacles for successful execution and demonstrate how to continually measure a program. Merck and Endo Pharmaceuticals will also be taking in the panel discussion.
