Our client wanted to hold a sales training event for their specialist sales team, helping them refresh their knowledge, share best practice, review the past year and look to future goals.
Working to a very short deadline, Ashfield Meetings & Events provided a full-service logistics and management service, hosting 120 delegates for three days, then 20 delegates for a final two days. This meant coordinating two different agendas, arranging dinners at more than 10 different venues, booking large numbers of rooms and delivering a multitude of supplies to different parts of the building.
A key part of the event was sales force effectiveness training, provided by Ashfield Insight & Performance. Together we created a highly effective, smooth-running event.
Although the two Ashfield teams were booked separately by the client, we were able to work together to give the client huge added value, handling last-minute changes effectively, as well as supporting and getting the best out of each other.
We also worked closely with many different suppliers during the management of this event, including the production company, venue finders, the travel company and the hotel. With all of these suppliers, we overviewed their work to make sure everything tied together well.
