Ashfield Meeting & Events is pleased to announce that it is now fully operational in its new US hub headquarters in Ivybrook Boulevard, Ivyland, Pennsylvania.
The new office, located next to Ashfield Division’s US headquarters, will act as the Ashfield Meetings & Events US hub. The agency has additional offices in Indianapolis, Indiana and San Bruno, California, as well as a remote workforce in other key client locations.
Gavin Houston (CEO Americas) commented: “The move was necessitated following a string of new SMMP client program wins, as well as the expansion of our in-house creative and production teams. We had simply outgrown our previous space. The move was not an onerous one for our staff as it is in the same business park as our previous office space. It means we remain close to our parent company and heritage but have our own environment that has been designed to our specification to meet the evolving needs of the business, encourage fresh thinking and develop our talented staff.”
The remodelled office will be home to Ashfield Meeting & Events’ meetings management, venue sourcing, creative and production teams, in addition to support functions such as sales support, business development, marketing, HR, finance and operational excellence. The space will be shared with the agency’s SPARK THINKING brand that offers an agile and innovative consultancy resource designed to enhance the effectiveness of live events and communications.
Houston added: “The SPARK THINKING brand is prevalent in the new space. We use it to help foster creativity and to encourage staff to look at their meetings from a different perspective. The dual branding and continued use of an open concept allows our staff to collaborate to generate new ideas creating a vibrant work environment that ultimately adds value to our clients through more ingenious solutions”.
The move was celebrated with a grand opening reception held on Friday 4th February to welcome all the employees to their new home. Senior representatives from the US divisional businesses attended.
