As a result of this growth Laura has successfully expanded her account team from nine to 22 employees within the last twelve months, at the same time ensuring the focus remains on team development and succession planning for future.”
The Eventia Awards honour outstanding business-to-business and business-to-consumer events both internationally and in the UK. The spread of categories show no bias towards any particular discipline allowing ample opportunity for judges to compare like with like in a given category.
More than 600 guests from the UK events industry attended the annual awards ceremony, which was presented by actor and comedian Alexander Armstrong. During the evening, 22 awards were presented from five categories. Universal WorldEvents were also awarded bronze in the ‘Best Conference (International)’ category for the Allergan EAME Sales Conference 2013, an event which Laura has managed for the past four years.
