We are thrilled to announce that Ashfield Digital & Creative has been shortlisted for the prestigious Digital Entrepreneur Awards Digital Agency of the Year.

One of the reasons we wanted to enter these particular awards was the criteria allow us to tell our story. And we have a great story to tell.

Over the last few years we have evolved as an agency; in fact we’d go as far as say that we’ve grown up. We look to deliver creative communications that make real world impacts and the award criteria demanded we showcase examples of this.

Getting to work on our submission
Sometimes submitting for awards can be a laborious affair but we actually had some fun writing our submission. We focused in on our successes, our lovely client work and some of the great stuff we’ve done for our own wonderful team. And of course, we discussed the innovative spirit that we harness here; encapsulated perfectly by our ‘Kollider’ hackathon. The hackathon involved the entire digital and creative agency – with over 100 participants – and we’re still seeing the benefits of it today.

Will we be crowned the winners?
So on November 9th there will be a small group of us attending the awards ceremony at The Palace Hotel, Manchester but there will be another 100 of us back in the office cheering us on.

Andrew Binns is SVP, Strategy and Planning. His remit is to ensure his agency is daring in its thinking and pushes boundaries. He instils in his team the ambition to aim higher and strive for better results for our clients. He is an advocate of the need to understand the audience, identify the behavioral change required, then, and only then, define the appropriate tactics to achieve this. Andrew is a senior judge for the Communiqué Awards and the User Experience Awards, and regularly writes opinion pieces that can be found on our website and across the wider marketing media.
