Safety Scientist, Pharmacovigilance
I began my nursing career in the pediatric clinical setting almost 10 years ago, specializing in neonatal intensive care and family education. After leaving bedside nursing in 2011, I began my pharmacovigilance career at a large CRO, using my nursing background and critical thinking skills to progress from entry-level safety specialist to a team lead on a large complex client.
In 2016, I joined the Ashfield team as a Quality Operations Manager, which allowed me to use my knowledge and experience in mentoring others and improving departmental quality. In 2017, I had the opportunity to advance to the Operations Manager role, which has helped me grow tremendously and expand my skill set in terms of both people and project management.
