Valerie has more than 15 years of experience in medical communications, including developing and managing medical communication plans for many high-profile global and national brands. Valerie’s experience covers both medical and promotional programming as well as content development for pre- and post-launch initiatives. Therapeutic areas in which Valerie has been involved in communication plans and strategic initiatives include CNS disorders, gastroenterology, rheumatology, pulmonology, psychiatry, cardiovascular and metabolic disease, and multiple rare diseases.
Prior to medical communications, Valerie worked in medical publishing for Elsevier Science in Paris where she managed several scientific journals and book titles. Valerie holds a BS in biology and English from Lake Forest College.
