This June marks the 3 year anniversary of the relaunch of The Academy and what an amazing 3 years it’s been! Already this year over one thousand training places have been offered representing a massive investment of over 5 thousand training hours by the business, and we still have another quarter to go…wow!

Here at Ashfield Healthcare Communications we’re passionate about providing an environment that enables continuous learning and development, supports open and honest communications and maintains the highest standards of business ethics and integrity.

Whilst 70% of learning is acquired in role, The Academy program offers a series of classroom and Webex training, online learning and coaching programs designed to support your personal development. So whether it’s how to write for a lay audience, creating better slides: visualizing your data or how to become a “Trusted Advisor” to your clients we’ve got something for you.

We currently offer over 40 courses covering:

The majority of our courses are delivered by our very own homegrown internal experts, who relish the opportunity to share their expertise and knowledge. The beauty of this approach is a deep understanding of our business and what people actually need to know in order to develop or do their job to the best of their ability. Most courses are run on demand so we can be sure we’re delivering “just in time” training to the right people.

As part of UDG Healthcare plc, we’re also lucky enough to have direct access to the Inspire and DRIVE programs. Over 1,000 leaders and managers company-wide have attended this training. Focusing on how to develop our people and teams, manage and drive optimal performance whilst also providing an extensive network to ensure our businesses work together to deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients and ultimately improving patient lives.
