How did you get into your role?

Through a passion for technology and innovation.

What is a typical day like?

Varied, I can be talking to physicians one minute and creating prototypes the next.

What projects have you worked on that have been particularly interesting?

A Nutrition Institute’s global chatbot implementation. After a trip and workshop to Vevey, Switzerland I got to work with the latest AI tech to design a chatbot for them.

What’s the best part about your job?

Being free to suggest crazy ideas to our clients.

Do you have any advice for someone interested in a similar role?

Read! The best and easiest way to make yourself more valuable is to read the plethora of great materials, articles and books constantly being published for free, online in UX and Tech.

What do you find unique about your career field?

Knowledge doesn’t last long in our industry, staying up to date with what is considered new and good design is a constant challenge.

Where is the most exciting place you have travelled to with work?

I had the opportunity to go to New York to support our US counterparts. I got to demonstrate and teach the client about our innovative VR technology.

What do you think is the future of medcomms?

Artificial intelligences are allowing us to design and provide more personable, conversational and ultimately effective experiences for patients and HCPs all over the world.
