Our Project Managers are key catalysts in the planning, organising and delivery of our events, working closely with Project Executives and Account Managers to create a seamless event experience for our clients and their delegates, from the initial idea through to the final invoice.
The role involves liaising confidently and clearly with all event stakeholders to ensure client objectives are met and our events exceed expectations. You will need a Dragon’s Den-esque financial acumen to prepare budgets and reconcile jobs (often in multiple currencies) and a gymnastic dexterity to run multiple events most months, working to tight deadlines, client guidelines and compliance codes.
You will need to be an assured communicator both face-to-face and in writing (a second language would be a bonus) and you’ll need to have the confidence to advice and guide our clients on their project delivery. You will need to be able to manage several projects simultaneously without losing your astute attention to detail. If you noticed the typo two sentences ago you’re probably the sort of person we’re looking for.
An advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office suite is a necessity and you will also need to display a diverse knowledge of international and domestic destinations. Last year we managed over 2,500 meetings in 50 countries, so it would be useful if you knew the difference between Granada and Grenada.

You will be expected to capitalise on the autonomy we give you to grow as an individual, create new opportunities and drive the business forward (all of which makes it sound like we’re going to turn you into a robot, which definitely isn’t the case).
To be successful in this role you’ll need at least two years’ experience managing global meetings and events, preferably in an agency environment. If you haven’t clocked up that sort of mileage yet don’t fret, you could consider applying for a Project Executive role instead.
