Our client was preparing for a major launch in the secondary care market and needed a strong patient education programme to differentiate them from the competition.
We established a programme which enabled our nurses to support patients directly in their own homes. They offered support with self-administration and adherence, as well as training on the patient’s specific disease and medication.
A support network of 250 nurses was set up.
The client said
“The service was such a success that after two years we asked Ashfield to offer a helpline service too, replacing our former provider and offering a one-stop solution.”
How this helped patients
More than 4,700 patients are currently registered and taking part in the programme.
