Congratulations to our Japanese joint venture, Ashfield CMIC, which recently made the finals of a prestigious corporate awards ceremony.
The British Business Awards are held every year by the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ), and were set up to recognise excellence and promote success and innovation across a wide range of industries.
We were nominated in the UK-Japan Partnership category and got the chance to attend the gala awards ceremony at the Hilton Tokyo on 14 November 2014. More than 300 guests attended what has become one of the highlight events for the ex-pat community.
“To be recognised in this way after only officially launching as a business in October 2014 is a tremendous achievement and reflects everyone’s hard work to date,” says Representative Director CMIC Ashfield Greg Flynn. “Being a member of the BCCJ is really beneficial as it helps to position our company favourably within the business community here in Tokyo, raises our profile and opens the door to networking opportunities and potential new business.”
