Ashfield Healthcare Communications, a leading global healthcare communications agency part of UDG Healthcare, today welcomes its first intake of aspiring medical writers into its recently launched medical writing training programme, Allegro.
The 12-month, accelerated-learning programme offers Associate Medical Writers the opportunity to receive training and develop their career with a global leader in healthcare communications.
Ashfield aims to train up to 80 writers a year through the Allegro programme. The first intake sees 15 new recruits begin their training, with further intakes in April, June and September, continuing on an annual basis. At the end of the 12-month programme, recruits will join one of Ashfield’s agency teams in the UK as a Medical Writer.
Neil Marmont, Allegro’s Programme Director, said: “This is a new and exciting approach from Ashfield Healthcare Communications that aims to inspire and train the next generation of medical writers. The programme builds confidence and ability through personalised accelerated learning and will help us to foster a strong and capable talent pipeline to support the business and our customers moving forwards.”
The Allegro programme has been designed to ensure Ashfield continues to recruit the best talent available and provides the training they need to develop their skills and career.
