Andrew Moore (Client Partnership Director, Ashfield Meetings & Events) will link up with Pierre Metrailler (CEO, SpotMe) to share their expertise on capturing real-time transfer of value with apps at The Meetings Show in London next week.
The session, which starts at 13:50 on Thursday 15 June and takes place in the London Room, will cover a best-in-class mobile app case study, developed specifically to meet the needs of healthcare clients.
From 2016, pharmaceutical companies across Europe have had to publicly disclose all transfer of value associated with healthcare professional (HCP) interactions. As a result, pharmaceutical meeting planners and event agencies have faced increasing pressure to deliver reliable data on schedule. Technology and customer relationship management solutions have adapted to allow more accurate reporting, but at the same time this has identified potential data gaps. Simple in concept and application, the intuitive solution empowers client and agency staff to record HCP interactions and activities at source, on-site and without any additional staff requirements. It provides the granular detail required for disclosure reporting in a workable format and interfaces with existing technology platforms.
SpotMe, an event app specialist, has been working closely with Ashfield Meeting & Events to improve the quality of content that is delivered to meeting attendees. By migrating transfer of value reporting to the app, pharmaceutical companies have reduced reporting costs by an estimated 63% and increased reporting accuracy by 20%.
The Meetings Show, held 13-15 June at Olympia, features over 80 educational sessions delivered by the most creative thinkers in the industry. Education streams for this year’s event include technology, healthcare and meeting design.
