Company exhibit reinforces Ashfield’s services to patients and HCPs.
Ivyland, PA (October 2016) – Ashfield, part of UDG Healthcare plc, is pleased to announce its participation in eyeforpharma’s 13th Annual Patient Summit USA 2016, being held October 10-11, in Philadelphia. Nareda Mills, Senior Vice President of Clinical Services, Ashfield, will present on “The Evolution of the Patient Relationship” during day 1 of this two-day event. Ashfield will reinforce this presentation with its patient journey exhibit showcasing how the company works as a trusted global partner tailoring an end-to-end patient experience.
Nareda’s presentation will review how changes to the health eco-system have demanded new offerings from the pharmaceutical industry and demonstrate how patient support programs have evolved to become a ‘cost of entry’ with delivery of adherence to these specialty drugs. In addition, Nareda will explore how the industry can differentiate and innovate its patient programs to ensure it doesn’t create a ‘me too’ program to deliver a more effective outcome and she will define how to keep the HCP involved in these offerings, supporting strong dialogue between patient and HCP.

Ashfield will feature a new exhibit at the Patient Summit incorporating a patient journey infographic addressing the support Ashfield can provide along the patient journey to deliver an end-to-end experience. Patient, caregiver and HCP in-person, phone and education support can be provided throughout pre-diagnosis; diagnosis; realization, treatment and influence; adoption; use and administration; adherence, support and sustaining treatment.
