We are thrilled to announce that our UK Commercial Business Analytics Team walked away with the Analyst Team of the Year Award at the 2019 BOBI Awards, which took place in Windsor on Monday 13 May.
The BOBI Awards were launched over a decade ago by the BHBIA (British Healthcare Business Intelligence Association) and are the only healthcare-specific business intelligence awards in the UK.
James Atley, Andrew Marnoch and Mark Tunnicliff of our Business Analytics team submitted for the Analyst Team of the Year Award this year. It is awarded to the team who best showcased their skills in turning complex datasets into an interactive, engaging report that tells the story within the data.
All teams received a number of complex data sets, including data drawn from published NHS resources under the Open Data Licence, and a structure file for a team of 23 sales representatives.
The brief required the teams to build a new reporting system – by analysing sales, activity and formulary data, they were asked to show areas to build, bank and defend, to allow the marketing team to identify areas for targeted email campaigns and the sales team to build their local business plans.
About the Team
Our Business Analytics team’s work includes creating visually engaging dashboards, designing sales territories and identifying/segmenting target customers using healthcare and demographic data. The value our team brings is through the development of intelligent analytical solutions working in close partnership with both the business and our clients. These solutions demonstrate our ability to effectively combine multiple complex data sources and offer clear and actionable insight.
