As of 1 October, Medex Media - formerly part of the Knowledge Point 360 Group - has transitioned to become an integral and complementary component of Ashfield Meetings & Events. UDG Healthcare PLC acquired the Knowledge Point 360 Group in March 2014. Since then the company has been reviewing the businesses and its offerings. The business complements Ashfield Meetings & Events existing full service global event management offering specialising in the healthcare sector.

Medex-Media work with healthcare clients to deliver effective exhibition and live event environments throughout the product lifecycle. This ranges from strategic consultancy that maps audience educational needs and personas to relevant scientific congresses, through to dedicated project management and experiential design that transforms exhibits into learning environments to deliver personalised multichannel messages. The business complements Ashfield Meetings & Events existing full service global event management offering specialising in the healthcare sector.

The Medex-Media business will continue to operate from their current office in Tytherington, Macclesfield, the headquarters from where they deliver over 70 international projects annually. Joanne Brook (Head Of Engagement, Ashfield Meetings & Events) will have responsibility for Medex-Media from the senior management team at Ashfield Meetings & Events. Gerry Montgomery (Commercial Director, Medex-Media) will maintain all client-facing responsibilities with the existing team who have all transferred by TUPE into Ashfield Meetings & Events. The brand will maintain its identity and sit alongside production, creative, communications and digital offerings within the existing engagement team.
