Ashfield Meetings & Events are proud to announce that Heather Sharp (Account Director) has been honoured as one of the industry’s top young talents by Conference News.
Their new CN30 Under Thirty initiative, delivered in partnership with Cvent, aims to give a platform to younger individuals in the conference and meetings sector, highlighting their outstanding achievements and offering them opportunities to learn from each other and leading industry figures.
Heather joined Ashfield Meetings & Events in 2010 as a Project Executive and has shown passion, commitment and promise throughout her career, progressing naturally through multiple roles. Now an Account Director, Heather is responsible for a team of 20 talented event professionals that work across an extensive portfolio of clients in multiple sectors. She has paid special attention to developing skill-sets within her team and encouraging collaborative behaviours and creative thinking. Through her strong leadership, Heather guides her team to deliver to the highest possible standards, exceeding expectations and providing a return on investment to achieve her clients’ objectives.
Nicola Burns (Global Managing Director) commented on Heather’s nomination, praising her for her contribution to the business: “It has been a joy to watch and encourage Heather in her career progression. She is an asset to the company and her experience and knowledge, aligned with her account development and people skills, have been invaluable in achieving growth across her accounts. Well done Heather on yet another fantastic achievement!”
Heather was delighted to attend a recognition evening on Monday evening at Camm & Hooper’s Victorian Bath House in London. She said: “I am honoured to have been awarded a place in the first CN30 Under Thirty list and to share the evening with talented peers from across the UK event industry.
