Ashfield Ireland, the leading provider of contract services to the Irish pharmaceutical industry, announces Jo Shields as Recruitment Business Manager.
Jo has been a key member of the Ireland team since joining us in 2008, and her new role reflects her commitment and passion for finding the highest quality candidates for our clients.
Eoin McAtamney, Managing Director of Ashfield Ireland, commented:
“People are key to any businesses success, and Joanne’s new role will help ensure we continue to recruit the best people on behalf of our clients.
Ashfield has provided recruitment services for a number of years, and we now offer a more thorough and defined proposition of direct headcount recruitment across all areas of pharmaceutical business.
Perhaps more important is the way that we recruit. Our team has direct experience as sales and people managers, we have industry insights that differentiates us from our competitors and we have the ability to incorporate bespoke options such as psychometric testing and our in-depth candidate screening.
By using these measures, we ensure that our clients get the best people, whilst providing support and training to candidates who are hungry for their next career opportunity.
With Jo’s attitude, experience and commitment, I am delighted that she is now the face of Ashfield’s recruitment services”.
Talking about her new role, Joanne said:
“For me, the fact that I can be involved in changing someone’s life in a positive way is incredibly exciting. I thrive on face-to-face interaction and I am delighted to be representing Ashfield for our new candidates and clients.
I really feel that Ashfield is a great place to work and I love my job. This makes it easier for me to explain to clients why it is the right choice for Ashfield to represent them as their recruitment partner!
The changes in the recruitment process over the last five years have been huge, and the rise of digital and social media means we have had to build our online presence to effectively communicate our vacancies and demonstrate what we can offer to candidates.
However, I still believe in the personal touch and it is incredibly important to us to know our candidates before putting them forward for roles with our valued clients”.
