We are pleased to announce that Pegasus, an Ashfield company, part of UDG Healthcare, has been recognised in the inaugural Campaigns For Good Awards 2018. The awards is a new initiative from PRWeek, Campaign and Third Sector. Pegasus won Best Public Awareness Campaign for ‘Small Talk Saves Lives’ in the Multi-Organisation category, and then went on to be named ‘Campaign of the Year’ overall.

 

Small Talk Saves Lives is a suicide awareness campaign and was conceived and delivered by Pegasus on behalf of Network Rail, Samaritans and British Transport Police. This unique partnership of organisations came together to work towards a vision of reducing the number of suicides on the rail network. The campaign was born out of the startling statistic that, in the UK, someone takes their own life on the railway every 36 hours. But also, in that same time, six lives are saved by those around them. It centres around a compelling video, Sarah’s Story, which has been viewed over six million times and shared more than 65,000 times.

This powerful campaign has already been recognised this year at the Communique Awards, the Brand Film Festival, the PRCA Digital Awards and the SABRE EMEA Awards.

The judging panel for the Campaigns For Good Awards gave Small Talk Saves Live high praise saying, “This campaign will saves lives”
