In support of supplier diversity, Create NYC joined Pfizer and the Women President’s Organization, Inc for an interactive event on April 8th, 2019 at Pfizer in New York City. Female Founders–A discussion with Pfizer and Enterprising WBEs (Women’s Business Enterprises) included a panel discussion with three female founders from businesses that have worked with Pfizer for nearly a decade or more.
Create NYC’s Founder, Natalie McDonald, shared in her own words strategies from 10 years of working with Pfizer. First as a diverse supplier and now as a mentor to new and growing diverse suppliers, Natalie offered her perspective on how leaders in the healthcare industry have supported Create NYC and her journey. The audience of >100 attendees were engaged and appreciative of the advice and represented WBEs interested in doing business with Pfizer as well as procurement colleagues.
Today as a leader in the Ashfield network of companies, Create NYC continues to support innovative start-up businesses including those that are certified as a diverse supplier. This successful event was a reminder of how invaluable the support of leaders like Pfizer has been to Create NYC as a growing company in the industry.
