After it dawned on Matt that he wasn’t going to make it as a footballer, he changed tack and went on to focus on his PhD and subsequently several years’ research as a post-doc. He joined the company 10 years ago as an Associate Medical Writer and is now a Scientific Director providing strategic and tactical support to several teams of writers. It is the people and the environment that provide him with the greatest job satisfaction: teamwork, innovation, variety, humour and cake!  Any of Matt’s spare time (and cash) is swallowed by his two kids and his two Jack Russells.
