Senior Account Manager
After graduating in 2008 with a first-class Events Management degree from Leeds Metropolitan University, I was awarded Student of the Year by Ashfield Meetings & Events (then World Events) and joined the company as a Project Executive. Since then, I’ve been promoted to Project Manager responsible for delivering my own events, to most recently a Senior Account Manager with my own team and client accounts to manage.
One of my key responsibilities is staff management, development and motivation. I invest a great deal of my time in ensuring that the 180-plus events we organise a year exceed client expectations.
After a few years working on a dedicated team, I recognised that I’d like broaden my skill set. I had a few discussions internally and was seconded to one of our US offices for six months to work on the on-boarding of a new client and the delivery of a company conference. For me, the experiences and ample development opportunities is what sets the company apart.
