As Vice-Chair of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), it is my responsibility to ensure senior marketers of the north west are provided access to some of the most creative and strategic leaders in our sector. This week I was fortunate enough to host a session around Cannes Lions. As well as passing on my own insights on the relevancy of attending Cannes Lions, I was joined by two highly acclaimed, hugely respected experts. Stuart Hehir, Creative Director at Pegasus, who gave a fascinating talk on what it was like to present at Cannes Lions. He took attendees through the behaviour change strategy he used for his award winning Samaritans campaign. Tom Richards, Chief Creative Officer at HAVAS LYNX, then enthralled everyone with his experience of judging and winning at Cannes Lions. It was an incredibly interesting session and feedback from attendees has been extremely positive.
